Day by day
- Day 1–3
Kathmandu to the trailhead
Briefing in Kathmandu, then drive to the lowland trailhead and ease into the walk.
- Day 4–6
Into the Manang valley
Follow the Marsyangdi river through terraced villages, gaining height steadily.
- Day 7–8
Acclimatise at Manang
A rest day with short hikes to prepare your body for the high pass.
- Day 9
Thorong La pass
An early start for the crossing of the mighty Thorong La and descent to Muktinath.
- Day 10–12
Muktinath & return
Visit the pilgrimage site, descend the Kali Gandaki and return to Pokhara and Kathmandu.
